Well, it's a new journey and so, a new journal. Since I'm going to open you up and write on your pages, I figure I should open myself up to you in return. It's only fair.

My name is Ealaide Kay'Scaaney, a name which means "Song" and "Foggy, spectulumed mirror." It's suitable as I love music. I'm a percussionist by trade, like my grandmother.

Did you know that I'm the spitting image of her? My grandmother, I mean. I expected you wouldn't know that book, of course. Her name was Echo, or so she said. She was a little crazy, insisting she was from another world. Still, she was amazingly talented with  a drum. I only hope to be half as good as her.

Back to the beat of the drums again, of course. I've joined a new band called "Leaves in the Wind", It consists of two flutist elf females, a male percussionist with me, and an orc. We use lots of drums, as you can tell, ha!

We're based in Iax right now, writing songs about a war that has already happened.

I feel a little warm in Iax. This was Python's home. I knew him, breifly, a few years back. It's something to know that your life has been touched by a hero. Everyone's life is touched by heros, but it's rare that it's personal. It's more of a blanket touch.

I know that when we were dancing and playsparring, niether of us imagined I'd someday be writing songs to his accomplishments.
