i'm baffled.  am i the only "non-absentee" dad in cyberspace that was not acknowledged at all on f-day?  no "happy f-day"(except for one late in the day that was a request for money), no card, no present, no nothing? still affected by it after a week.

I'm sorry to hear about this and I know it pains you, because being a father is the most important thing in the world to you. I hope attitudes and perceptions improve with maturity/adulthood. Or maybe you need to stop doing so much and let them do for themselves. Perhaps more appreciation will follow.  Hang in there.
