Well, not really...just an update.

I've recently transitioned my way into the belle province and have settled in a cute cupcake apartment in Montreal. I sold pretty much everything I owned and have become a minimalist...ah yes, what a great thing purging is!

My eating habits have caught me off guard...I love to cook and eat extravagant things... Lately, all I've been eating is beans, cilantro and lime. Red cabbage is also sitting quietly in my fridge, wondering what the hell I'm going to do to it...purple wine soup is an option...

As far as music and touring goes...I recorded my second album with Colin Linden. I just received the master and will be releasing it in the Spring. I will also be recording a 3rd album in the next few months because I'm obsessed. I can't afford it, but funny money goes a long way!

Look out for an East Coast tour in late august!!

Here's the poem I promised!...no judging, it's on the fly...

Once upon a time in my little heart
Lived a sexy bird in a donkey cart
It traveled far to the whiskey jar
And fell in love with a chick at the bar
Watch the Spring chickens they'll take from your heart!

man oh man that's good...oh yeah, that's real good!

Something is to be said for a minimalist....human suffering only comes from our desires. The less you desire the less you shall suffer. There for leaving lots of room for your soul to roam free...no wonder your writting so much, you have nothing in your way to stop it. Glad to hear you got out of Toronto, dont know much of Montreal but Im sure you will make a home of it very quickly.. It was great meetin you last summer, if your ever out west make sure to drop a line. We got this great "Smurf Hostel"(aka our house) that shelters many musican and friends alike. Mi casa su casa.... Best of luck.
PEACE -Todd

Dunno about being a minimalist, but I gotta say, I like being poor. Not having everything handed on a plate. I'd hate that, being poor/semi poor, love it............ Selling everything you own though............is all that money to feed some kind of beans addiction?

There was a lass who sold it all for beans
Don't ask her for one, she's far too mean
she's penniless see, living the dream
it's easy to keep her apartment clean,
when all you have to wash up is beans.
