Ok

This is something I feel I must address.

What is up with people who proudly wave the confederate flag and shout things like, "Suddern Pri!" and such?

We're talking about a government which condoned slavery, lasted only four years, and, oh yeah I forgot.. THEY LOST!!!!

Ok, I'm from Iowa. The midwest. Iowa was a Union state. Yet still when I visited there this summer I found people flying that damn flag.

If you want to be rebellious, hold up a fricken pirate flag. Or just run out in public nude waving your middle finger around. Don't hold up a flag representing some of the worst moments in American history.

I remember when I first moved to Florida, before that I had never seen a confeddie flag being flown. Other than in re-creations of course. When I first moved down here I brought this up to a kid who was in Boy Scouts with me. He defended it saying it was his heritage. Alright, I'm german. So by his logic, I can wave a Nazi flag willy dilly and tell people it's my heritage.

Oh and btw, since we were in Boy Scouts, we each had an American (that's the United States of) flag on our shoulders.

I think President Theodore Roosevelt put it best:

"There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all."

"We have room for but one flag, the AMERICAN FLAG."

GRRR I feel so sorry for any black people that go by one of those things.

Feel free to shoot on sight.
