Current mood:  amused
So I released "How To Build A House / Zim Zam" on Dec. 29ish, and since it's my first "label release," I thought I'd Google it and see where all it has ended up.  I noticed a couple weeks ago that some pirate groups frequently grab new Beatport releases and redistribute the music onto Russian pirate websites.  I mean, it kinda sucks that a lot of people have been getting free copies of the tracks, but it's kind of an amusing thing to see your release spread like wildfire throughout Russia.  It's gotten almost as much exposure on Russian pirate sites as it has through legitimate download shops that my label sent it to!

I even managed to find a DJ who made a mix with "How to Build a House" in it.  At least he's a tasteful pirate.  I kinda doubt he legally downloaded the track, but I don't care.  Not like I'll strike it rich over my music anyway.  :)

You can download this sneaky Russian's mix below (figured I'd give him some free press, too. ;) )
