Gday Australian Guitar

What are the major differences between a factory made acoustic guitar and guitars that are made by a small shop?

I play with a flat pick - any advice on timbers I could look at for my next guitar I am looking to spend between $3500 and $4000?

Hi James
Have a look at http://www.noyceguitars.com
You can see how they are manufactured in a small shop.
Custom built instruments using Australian timbers and in your price hitting zone
I've got an N2 in Blackwood and, well, ...out of my cold dead fingers!
Cheers
Kim

G'day Australian Guitar,

really enjoyed the latest issue, particularly the article on how to install pickups by Perry Ormsby. only problem is I play acoustics, and have one I want to install a pickup into.

Can you get someone to do a similar article on acoustic guitars,

thanks,

Thanks
