Mark Patterson and I flew in to Edmonton last night for a live performance on Breakfast Television. We left Toronto late and arrived in Edmonton 4 hours later (minus the 2 hour time difference) bringing us into this great city at 1am.

I got in as much sleep as I could, woke up and began inadvertently tormenting the guests in the adjacent rooms with my annoying and highly effective vocal warm ups. To the layperson it sounds like screeching, followed by yelping sounds, cat sounds, scales, "hhnaying", and "myuming" but these exercises from my Elaine Overholt's Vocal Warm-up CD do wonders to wake up a tired voice at 6am.

We arrived at BT Edmonton and were immediately greeted by the staff and in no time we performed.

We did duo (guitar and voice) versions of "I'm Your Man" and "I Put a Spell on You" and chatted on air with Rob Hislop who hosts the show.

Starbucks was my next stop for a DK sized coffee. So good!
