My birthday is on Monday.  I'll be 28 years OLD.  I'm terribly depressed that my life is rushing by with no way to stop it. 

Ya know what always freaks me out is if I watch something like say a t.v. show from the 80’s or a movie or a recorded concert or something, and I’m like right into it, whatever it is, lets say…well, ok so I watched these movies by Prince, or the artist formally known as Prince or whatever, right so they were very entertaining and I remembered the music like yesterday right, and Prince was looking pretty good, he had his dance moves down and he was young and fit and whatnot, right, so I look him up on wikipedia and he’s 51 years old now!  He’s got another 30 years left if he’s lucky.  But just yesterday I was watching him bust a move and he was all spry and youthful, and I repeat, I remember his songs like it was yesterday that they were on the radio, so in my lifetime, I’ve basically watched, or not noticed, as someone else’s life had gone bye-bye.  And then I realized, shit in the time that I’ve known the song Purple Rain, once that same amount of time goes by again, I’ll be done, it’ll be MY life will be on its way out!!  Scary, scary.
