Neat form. It brought me a restless feeling. I really like the expression if a bit melancholy.

Happy New Year

another beauty

I see wings of a premonition

perhaps it is the passing of one year, and the coming of another

or perhaps it is the spirits of those abruptly taken~

Could you of been anymore vague with the words... I just used this word on a comment to Georgina's short story "When in Rome"... liked how the reader must focus in the lines and keep the mind wondering to the end...

:)

Glen

ps - have a great night and thx again for sharing your work...

The why I can't find an answer to...
But this is a write that speaks volumes to me...
As I find myself wafting into some dellusion
that I am losing myself within this season of change.
This write would be a grand comfort to the wayward soul
For the volumes it speaks to me is of caring

Brava Leila
and Thank you for the read

a memory? a ghost? a wishful dream? all of these and more? The indistinct, yet indelible imprint people leave on us...and how hard it is to keep clear in our minds as time moves inexorably forward. Like holding water in your hands...chasing rainbows...remembering the face of someone you loved long ago now only a photograph in an album...the memory faded and less than clear.

I don't know...I couldn't pinpoint what this one was about...it was too....uhhh....vague.

(I keep thinking that there must be a song in each one of these, but for this one, I couldn't find it...yet)

Indeed there is poetry; varied as the number of flowers, each song has its own beckon and call.
The words you share here, Dear Leila must be measured amongst the most soulful and heart-strained I've had the occasion to consume.

The presence of your pen, ever rich and looming.

Leila, the images you paint with these words have the listless feeling of yearning and yet so beautiful and serene. I've missed your writes :)

Holy postings...I can't keep up!

I like the look of it...I recognize the thought behind it...but it felt short...and forced...as if you could have gone longer and made yourself condense it...maybe constrained is a better word.

Written almost a year ago...in that late winter/early spring time when everything is brown or white...it's not warm yet, but everyone is itching to get outside...captive with our own thoughts too much.
