Wow...deep beyond depth. Your words are always so clear, so strong. The pensive request for a mere star at the end is genius, to make it seem like not much at all. So glad to be reading you again. Still love to have you come sign up at wordmachinist.com when you get time of course.

The appeal to this is the gaining from something in all things small -uplifting and inspiring infinite offerings. A gorgeous piece of art.

Yes, Yes, YES!!! Again...he always has given me more than I could ever ask for or expect. I think the art of loving comes from this kind of selflessness and sacrifice that does not blink twice before acting upon their lover's desires.

Of course, I am not talking of the material world, since those matters do not interest me; but I have to clearly acknowledge the vast sacrifices and thought my now husband made to show me his care for me as a living declaration...because in the end, all words mean nothing, and actions speak louder than any words.

I am blessed to have this new world open and flowering before me.

Thank you for your thoughtful comment~

Namaste~

Ahhh...I am touched that you remember that poem Kyle! That piece (Back to Eden) is one of my husband's favorites as well, and he frequently references it also. It was a pivotal piece of my innermost understanding and true desire that brought me to where I stand today...

And such as Brian always gives me more than I could ever ask...if I asked for a star, he would bring me the universe. How lucky am I for all the gifts of this life that I have not asked for.

Always so good to see you Kyle! I am touched by your presence and thank you so much~

Namaste~

I thought it has been so long since I have written, that I feared I did not know how anymore. It is a simple piece, but there are a lot of layers and symbolism within it that reveal the history and evolution of my life with Brian.

I,
the
giddy
clown car…
jack in the box...
my reckless
ridiculous
small
self
overflowing
the
outpouring
wave after wave
of
wild emotion
and
boundless
shining bright
cornucopiacolor
thoughts
Exploding…

You are
the refined subtle
spark that sets me
aflame…

This Big Bang
that
We are Together
has always been the plush formation
of Our indelible Universe…

Now
we sit on our
front balcony of serenity
watching
these incredible waves of creation together
and make it our sacred religion.

My
poetry
has always
been crude karaoke,
but an poor replica
drunk off the sonorous grace
of the original sublime song
that
is
You.

I stopped by to see what you were talking about, and didn't have much time...

Why do you think I would be a good candidate to submit something for "voices of Israel"?

Don't get me wrong...I appreciate the thought and gesture, I just want to make sure I would be a compliment to your publication~

Voices Israel is an international annual (since 1972 -- I have only just become co-editor, for the 2010 issue and beyond) of English poetry. You write English poetry. The name comes not from the them but from the organization that publishes it: Voices Israel English Poetry Writers Group. The group, obviously, is based in Israel. The poetry is not. Any poet may submit (up to four poems in English, see the detailed guidelines on my blog) in any style on any theme.

I pointed it out to you because you're one of my friends and I enjoy reading your work. I should note, however, that there is an editorial board that reads and chooses selections for the anthology anonymously, so I can't guarantee publication. I'm just trying to make sure we get plenty of good poetry to choose from for my issue :)
