	MoonCookee Dwayne St Romain	Oh my Precious Friend; Are you a goddess?  I have to say this like this...that was F'n beautiful. Haiku are so efficient. I kept being pounded by the image of a giant skeleton leaf and the weight of it. I'm twisted but the irony of a painful memory blowing around in your wake implies to me that it could be emourmous in the right frame of mind. The simplicity of a ghostly leaf falling down behind you is beautiful. The Hindingburg landed in what looked like a burning leafey skeleton. What ancient disasters tumble around silenlty as we pass waiting for us to relive them even in a nano second? That's what they are there for. I want to write like you when I grow up. 	Metanoia	Wow! You bless me with such a kind and thoughtful/ insightful response. I truly appreciate your thoughts and shared imagery. Your interpretation was spot on...and this write came to me as I was running that morning and a dried leaf came up behind me...as if chasing me. So dried you could hear it scrape the pavement to reach me. It felt like I was being chased by that which haunts...it was a poignant moment. This was my first "official" haiku. I find it extremely difficult to condense words, and know I have so very far to go in doing so, but admire the ability in others greatly.
