Hey MySpacers,

Lately, God has been revealing to me the importance of knowing and embracing each season of our lives.

When we seek God diligently, He will always give us a glimpse of where He wants to take us. In our mind, we see our future and we plan our steps accordingly. It is similar to crossing a room. We see where we need to go, and we take the quickest and easiest path to reach our goal. But God has a different idea in mind.

David is a great example of this. It was prophesied that he would be the next king. He was then taken into the King’s Palace, made the armor bearer, but then attacks came from every direction. He spent years in the wilderness dodging Saul’s army. Or what about Joseph? The Lord spoke that he would be a great leader. His father, mother, and brothers would even serve him,… but then he found himself spending the next seventeen years going from a pit, to slavery, to a dungeon.

Why does God take us through these wildernesses when it would be easier for us to walk straight into our Destiny? Because it is in the wildernesses, the trials and the crucibles, that we gain the character needed to correctly steward the call of God on our lives. These trials are not God’s judgment, but rather preparation for our future!

Lisa and I love you and encourage you to stay the course to fulfill your destiny!

For His Kingdom,

John & Lisa Bevere

As hard as this reality is to accept sometimes it's true, and the character of God doesn't change just because we don't understand the season... Thanks Beveres! Much Love To You!!! :)

hey john

i just wanted to say that this very message was talked about last night between me and two friends. we were talking about how easy it is to see ourselves doing what were called to do and how we just want to go and do it! But sometimes God is saying to us not quite yet you still have some training or preparation to do. Dont get me wrong theres times where he will reveal parts of the picture but yet you still dont know the whole picture.
But by being obedient and walking through whatever it is he wants to walk through he will get us there in his timing! wow i love this message! this is just confirmation in my life and i know that prepartation is the key to a fulfilled destiny! i just pray that everyone reading this has the heart of wanting to say that they are wanting to finish the race that God has for their lives! how awesome is that! what a great reward!

we will fulfill our destiny's in jesus name!

God bless

Thank you for the reminder that God has a plan for all of us and that it is not always our plan.

Just today I said to myself, "I feel like I'm in the wilderness!" I believe God sent this to strengthen me, and others like me, right now.
May God continue to keep you close as you relay His messages:)!
The wording of this message is perfectly accurate to the letter. Keep praying for us as we continualy prey for you as well.

Thank you! and see you soon!

THat has just confirmed to me everything God was teaching me last year. Stands to reason He is speaking to you too :P Thank you. Thank you also for everything you and Lisa do in order to serve our King. I am so more now aware of the preparation process of ministry. Ministry does not just fall on people, it is a long journey of much sacrifice and prepartory trials etc. luv and hugs to you and your family and those dear to you.

"it is in the wildernesses, the trials and the crucibles, that we gain the character needed to correctly steward the call of God on our lives"...Powerful, it's easy to get frustrated if you do not keep in perspective the reason for the season...Thanks for the reminder...

Thank you John and Lisa, me and my husband know this all to well ,we are in our early 30's and have gone through the wildernesses and trials many times in the last 3 yrs of our new marragie and ministry and as a result we run to our Lord as soon as we see or feel it coming, for with out Him we would still not be standing. May the Lord bless you both this Christmas.
Keep shareing Gods truth to the world

1Chronicles 12:32. Thank you bro John for having a hearing ear and a discerning heart. Every time you post a new bulletin, they always, for me at least, are right on time to confirm where I am at and along the lines of what I am hearing! The walk my wife and I have been on for the past 7 years has been helped greatly through the ministry God has fitted you for!!! Thank you.
