When the wine was gone, Jesus' mother said to him, "They have no more wine." "Dear woman, why do you involve me?" Jesus replied. "My time has not yet come." His mother said to the servants, "Do whatever he tells you." (John 2:3-5)

Why was this mother so confident? Because when a mother says it's time...it is time. I don't believe I really even understood timing until I became a mother. After having my babies I learned a valuable lesson: mothers are not in control of the time, but they do recognize when it is time!
The phrase "it's time" has been stirring in my spirit. Notice I did not say "it's your turn." When it is someone's turn, everyone else has to take a break while that person takes center stage, but when it's time, everyone joins in!

"In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams." (Acts 2:17) As I have been traveling and speaking, God has had me declare repeatedly, "it's time!"
But what is it time for?

It is time for us to be honest and say we are out of wine. It is time to stop calling water wine and settling for quenched thirst when God wants us to have so much more. It is time for the House of God-men and women, the young and the old-to embrace the One with power to turn water into wine rather than arguing with each other about why the wine is out. We need to involve Him by simply being honest: "Jesus, we are out of wine!" and as servants we all need to be told, "Whatever He tells you to do... do it."

We must embrace the promise in Ephesians 3:20, "Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us".

I believe it is the season for God's daughters to begin asking for what we know we are in need of. I know this is often hard to believe with all we have around us but we need to cry out for more than what we've seen. Heaven is watching and waiting for the daughters, young and old alike, to petition the Lord.

<P>You don't even understand....I know this is true b/c I've either read or heard it 4 different times from you in a matter of a week!!!!!  In the book, on the site, on the DVD and now here!!!!!!  It's like when Jesus repeats himself in the Bible...you know it's important b/c He's saying it more than once, so...LISTEN UP!  That reminds me of this specific writing of yours!  I'm through with water...I will no longer be satisfied with water, but want wine!  It's not my turn, IT'S MY TIME!  We must embrace the promise NOW!  </P><P>And the whole baby thing...sorry for that not so happy nurse during your first pregnancy:)  But, I got to tell you...I cracked up during your DVD series that we thoroughly enjoyed last night!  </P>
