How much do they rock?

A whole lot!!
This summer when I was in NYC the sweet journalists came out to both Lafayette Grill and Mezzo Mezzo. This picture was taken at Mezzo Mezzo, a venue where I have the great pleasure and honor of working with some amazing musicians.
They're awesome....so awesome in fact, that they're always working on new projects and new things.

Amir is a regular player at both Laf Grill and Mezzo Mezzo. I didn't get to work with him this weekend because he had a wedding to attend. Chris Marashlian is releasing TWO CDs. He plays every Saturday at Mezzo Mezzo. I've heard tracks from these, in fact was there when Artemis Mourat was laying down some zill tracks. They're AWESOME!

Elias Sarkar. Well, I have NO idea what his current projects are but this man can PLAY! He plays oud, he makes his blue violin absolutely sing and HIS singing voice is SO vibrant and full of joy! AND he's a wonderful dance partner. :)

Robert Bogosian and Nick Mandukos are both awesome. This past weekend was the first time I got to work with Nick- his playing is wonderful and he seems very kind.

The Turkish Band Camp All-Stars are ALLLLLL doing all sorts of projects...Melissa coming down here, Carmine doing THIS:

Saturday at Mezzo Mezzo we were treated to a special guest: Omar Faruk Tekbilek. He rarely plays for dancers anymore, so I was especially honored.

Dale managed to capture some WONDERFUL moments both Friday and Saturday....when I get some of pictures I'm so gonna squeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!
