I'm not a big believer in entertainers supporting candidates. Just because someone has a microphone does NOT mean that what they say has more meaning than the words of someone who doesn't have access to one. I do believe, however, that we have a duty to be involved in the process.

That's why I've sent this out. I won't hammer you day after day with pointless endorsements of candidates. I'm not qualified to tell you who to vote for...no one is. It's YOUR choice.
What I will hammer you about is MAKING a choice. If you are eligible but haven't made the effort to become a registered voter, do it NOW. As Americans we have a privilege that many others in this world do not: to freely choose who leads our country. Many have served and died to secure and preserve this freedom which we all too often casually disregard.

In the last presidential election (2004), only 56.7% of those eligible to vote did. That's an incredibly sad statistic. It shows how much we take for granted every day. I'm asking you to get up, get motivated, become a registered voter (if you haven't already)....then get to the polls in November and VOTE for the candidate of your choosing. The only excuse for not doing so is apathy, and that has been eroding our country for decades. Stop being part of the problem and start being part of the solution. You have a voice.....USE IT!
