A nice collection of video interviews and clips with Joss Whedon in them...

  Serenity Movie Introduction by Joss
This is a really cool introduction to the movie Serenity. It has no Spoilers within, so all of you Serenity/Firefly virgins are free to watch it.  I would highly recomend watching this one. Joss Whedon thanks the fans and cast for bringing Firefly essentially back to life. He explains what Browncoats are, and recomends that we as fans promote the movie.  I especially love his sincere smile at the end! Lol. Joss is so darn shiny !

Joss' Guest Appearance in Episode 206 Veronica Mars Clip
Joss Whedon made a guest appearance on Veronica Mars. The part is very small, but weird and interesting that Joss chose to partake in this. Lol. I love his Employee picture.

Joss Whedon Video Interview Wonder Woman - May 18, 2006
Joss was able to give IESB some insight on Serenity and of course they had to take the opportunity to ask him about Wonder Woman. Will we see the lasso? What is going on with the invisible jet? Who is the ideal Wonder Woman? Will it be an origin story? These questions and more are answered by Joss in this interview.

Joss Whedon's Equality Now Speech - May 15, 2006
A really wonderful speech given by Joss Whedon in response to an award he received. This speech is only a tiny reminder of what an incredible person Joss is. He speaks avidly about his support of feminism while discussing the reasons he creates "strong female characters" characters. He mentions the necessity for equality in society today and succeeds in delivering a brief but effective little speech.

Wonder Woman "Origin" Interview - March 10, 2006
Big Serenity Spoiler
BIG SPOILER- No not... I repeat... Do not watch this if you have not seen Serenity. This is a short interview clip by "About" given at the L.A. premiere of the movie "Slither" . In this interview, Joss is asked a couple key questions about his upcoming Wonder Woman project when he approached by the media after the movie premiere. Joss is so nice, he takes the time to answer a couple questions. He discusses how the film will be an origin story able to be appreciated by all moviegoers despite their previous Wonder Woman knowledgebase. He does warn that he probably won't be able to please the comic book fans. Lol. I thought this was humorous. He says "comic book fans are some of the angriest people he knows" and he just "tries to put them out of his mind when writing because he can't please all of them".   ; p

Geek Week Vs. Joss Whedon
Some fellow interviews a man who he believes to be "dressed up in a Joss Whedon costume" at a convention. As it turns out, the guy "dressed up" is actually the real Joss Whedon!!! I bet that guy who interviewed him felt like a real shmuck when he found out.

Joss' Hugo Acceptance Speech Delivered by Morena Baccarin -8/26/06
Serenity won the 2005 Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation, Long Form on Sat. August 26 at LA Con IV, the 64th World Science Fiction Convention. Morena Baccarin accepted the award , reading Joss Whedon's acceptance speech.
Here is the trancript of the speech :
Morena: I prepared this whole big speech and then Joss sent me an email. So here goes:
"Dear Hugoers. This is an enormous honor for me. I read Sci-Fi veraciously as a child, and the stamp on a book saying Winner of Hugo Awards, was as exciting to me as if it had read -- contains pretty girls. I don't know who Hugo was or where he came from, just that he could kick that Pulitzer guy's ass when it came to choosing awesome [women]. It's amazing to me that I grew up to win this award without writing a book or even really mastering the English language. When I think back of the horrible pain of working with that cast of homely neurotic divas it all seems worth it. It wasn't, but it seems like it was. The truth is, this film represent an obsessive love for [me]. The kind of love I've only felt of a very select number of films, albums, but most significantly, for the Sci-Fi novels I read as a child. To Frank Herbert and to Frederik Pohl, to Larry Niven and to Ray Bradberry. Gee, I hope some of these guys won Hugos or Morena is going to look like and idiot up there (thank god). Thank you for honoring my obsession, including this one, my latest. Thanks to my cast, and to everyone who helped to bring Serenity, incredibly briefly, to the big screen. Thank you."

A Joss Dvd Extra : Joss Discusses Spike and Dru
Joss Whedon addresses the relationship and affection between Spike and Drusilla. This clip is featured from a dvd extra for the Buffy the Vampire Slayer Dvd set.

A Joss Joke
In response to Joss' Equality Now speech, one fan playfully asks him at the Marvel booth during an autograph signing at a convention, "So Joss, Why do you write such strong female characters?"

Joss Whedon Interview : Serenity Sequel?
Serenity Spoiler
Spoilers for Serenity are incorporated in this interview...so don't watch it if you have not seen Serenity!!!
An interview at the "Date Movie" premiere.

Joss Accepts Saturn Award For BTVS- 2003
This is a very short acceptance speech that Joss give for receiving the Saturn Award in 2003 for Buffy the Vampire Slayer. He thanks the nerds or "smart people" and discusses plans to turn the seventh season of Buffy towards focusing on Girl Power a little more. The quality is not exceedingly fabulous on this interview, but I'll post another one if I find one.
