Another article announcing Joss' new show, Dollhouse.

Joss Whedon Preps Fox Series

This is actually a link to Joss Whedon's new web site designed to promote his new television series, Dollhouse.  That's right, Joss is coming back to the small screen which is just about the most exciting thing I've heard in a very long time. The best part is that Joss will be working with Eliza Dushku....and well...read the rest yourself. =)

Best News Ever! Joss Whedon Spills Exclusive Deets on His New Series

This is a really nicely put together brief outline of what Joss is doing with his new show, Dollhouse and how he came up with his ideas for the new Fox series. Time Minear is already on the writing board and Eliza Dushku will be playing the main character of the show, Echo! (Also includes some interesting interviews with Joss and Eliza.)

SATIN TIGHTS NO LONGER. Joss will not be fighting for our rights after all.

This is actually a letter written by Joss explaining his reasoning for why he is no longer on the Wonder Woman project. Dissapointing ....true.

RUNNING MATES Joss Whedon and Brian K. Vaughan discuss the future of 'Runaways,' being fanboys and whether or not BKV will write 'Astonishing X-Men'

This article is informative an entertaining. It basically interviews Joss and comic book writer friend Brian K. Vaughan about Joss taking over for Vaughan on his comic book series, "Runaways". Lol. It is so cute how Vaughan expresses his initial doubt of Whedon's true interest in his characters. Lol. So be on the lookout for the Marvel series,  "Runaways". This article made me a giggle a little.

(Talking about Vaughan) He'd even turned down writer Joss Whedon's offer to work the Runaways into an issue of the mega-selling Astonishing X-Men.

"I thought that he was just being nice and I didn't want to ruin his Astonishing X-Men run with a gratuitous guest appearance," chuckles Vaughan. "I was like, 'No, don't do that.' If I had known that he really wanted to write the book, I would've left a long time ago." - Vaughan

But what about resolution of the relationship between Mal and Inara - REAL resolution, not restrained hints!  Help Joss!

Okay, so I'm a little behind... I just read about the "Wonder Woman" thing...  It's sad because if any body could have made it fabulous, it would be SUPER JOSS!!!  However, it's also good, because you will be free to pursue other interests, like "BTVS" Season 8 or maybe even the rumored (old, old rumores straight to video Spike/Angel movie????  (old, old rumores I hang on to... sad I know) I can only hope!!!

<P>size=2>'In spite of a groundswell of grassroots support amongst its fans, Serenity has failed to revive the science fiction-western Firefly franchise. Even with DVD sales, the movie reportedly failed to recoup its $40 million budget. And as anyone who's seen the film knows, the exit of certain characters and the resolution of key storylines makes it difficult — or impossible — to recapture the chemistry of the excellent-but-short-lived series.

Joss Whedon himself, creator of both the TV show and the movie, broke the news to the Whedonesque.com website. He says, "There's no sequel, no secret project regarding Serenity or some such and I'm not even sure how anyone thought there was talk there."

"I've seen [Firefly actors] Nathan and Tim (and Summer and Alan) recently because they're my friends because I'm so, yeah, awesome. So let's put that to bed and smother it with a pillow."

And so it ends for Firefly. The Browncoats have fought, and Serenity flown, for the last time.'

While I think you rock and will watch any project movie or t.v. you write I can never forgive you for giving up on Firefly. That being said we can still be friends.

i think i have an idea of how Firefly might return... check it...

Facts: 1. "Sarah Conner Chronicles" might be possibly coming to an end if any of the 3 main characters gets killed off.

2.
"Dollhouse" doesn't seem to be doing so well in the ratings

3. Nathan's new show might only do so-so. It's not aired yet so we'll see on that. 4. The rest of the surviving cast hasn't really been up to too much as far as television goes.

5. When it aired, the show and it's concept was ahead of it's time.

Possible cast:

Summer (of course) reprising the role as asst. Capt.
River Tam

Nathan (possibly)- Mal

Jewel,

gina,

Mindy clarke,

inara

adam baldwin

and simon.

now tagalongs from "the other show"

Shirley Manson- Companion

Thomas Dekker- Dominik Reynolds (Mal's much younger bro.
)

Plot:

Taking place a few years after the film Serenity, River was appointed assistant captain after the loss of hoban washburn.

During a visit to Captain Mal's home world, the crew run into his much younger brother "Dom" who quickly begins to take notice of the cute, young, and now-in-her-early 20's assistant captain Miss River Tam. So after several failed appempts of asking His older bro to tag along he hops in a crate and plays the stowaway routine, however River quickly begins to resist His many failed charms as She new to the concept of any guy liking her at all. Also Jayne begins to've taken notice as well as to how River's really "Blossomed" over the past couple of years. the two (dom and jayne) quickly begin not to get along so well.(which leads to some humorous moments) Meanwhile Zoey(gina torres) despite having gotten over the loss and trying to move on, still honors the memory of fmr.asst.capt. hoban washburn and would expect any new guy in her life to do likewise. Simon and kaylee are doing well and that guy that was looking for river is back and so are both Reavers and alliance alike.
