I'm wondering if someone can explain to me why heavy metal bands announce 30, 40, 50 date tours and no one comes to Detroit?? Tuesday I have to go to Canada to see Opeth. Last year I had to go to Cleveland to see SYL. NYC to see Crisis reunite. NYC to see Neurosis. I don't mind travelling. I'm not gonna sit here and bitch about seeing New York, Vegas, Toronto, Chicago. But is there a plague in Detroit I don't know about? We've got plenty of clubs. I've seen metal shows in Harpos (of course) st andrews, alvins, clutch, shelter, magic stick, majestic, royal oak....do we need to start sending bands booking numbers or what???? This problem needs to be addressed god damnit!
