not sure if you guys realize this, but you have left your influence on so many aspects of music in your own way.

personally i was really sad to hear about you guys going indefinite as has been happening with most bands, but i guess theres a time for everything.

thanks for the countless times i felt even a tiny bit better just because "patience and prudence" was playing. thanks for writing something that can make us think just a little deeper. thanks for showing everyone that breakdowns aren't all music is about. thanks for keeping DIY alive for all those years. thanks for not allowing yourselves to be tied down by genres or labels.

without you guys, a lot of people including myself would not know what it is like to listen to truly influential music.

thanks for everything hot cross. you guys are going to live on through your fans, and always be remembered for the true musicians you are.
