Friends and fans, I'm in Spain spending a well needed rest but I must confess traveling with a baby is a world of pain I never imagined. Don't get me wrong I love my child to death, but Spain is no longer the laid back world I remember. First off the plane ride has become tremendously way more difficult. Second, the plane ride has become excruciatingly more difficult, third the plane ride SUCKED. Then the jet lag deal is way difficult on a baby and thus on us parents. Regardless I feel lucky and blessed that I'm here enjoying some R&R, vino, jamón, mujere....oh wait not that, but still an amazing time being home. I may not be checking myspace regularly here, but know that I'm recharging for an amazing new year. peace. Javier

I am so glad to hear that you are getting some R&R. You are going to need it for what may be very positive future for you if my dear best friend, Larry gets on board with the crew in Europe (Jo Perry and Jud Mahoney and co.). I am so proud of him and I couldn't help but think that one of the people he should "show off" was you. The first time I heard your music was at BB's Soups and Blues mid Summer 08. I immediately pushed Larry to take the front table in front of the stage. I was so moved and so impressed. Any music that I can feel on so many levels is worth my attention. When Larry mentioned to me that he had this opp to scout musical talent in Europe and the U.S., I was like: Javier! Javier! I know. I previously mentioned this. I love your style. Your artistic sense and vibe I enjoy as much as Juanes. Very few artists can do what you do and you do it well.


Good luck to you and I hope to see you soon. If all goes well, I, too should soon be collaborating with the European crew (perhaps late this summer/early fall) and handling some matters here.
