Here we have a split cyberporn grind offering from Lithuania's Eyetofuk and Italy's Putrid Whore on Australia's Grindhead Records. While I generally hate cybergrind, Eyetofuk's 2004 Wankfest 2666 demo captured my attention and made me an instant fan. Their warped and twisted musical approach is funny, catchy and completely demented! Their music consists mostly of drum machine beats, weird techno-styled samples, simplistic riffs and bizarre burps, gurgles and snarls. In essence, this is an album created by retards, for retards, and I'm glad to admit I'm a complete fucking moron, cos this material is a ton of fun to listen to.

The material Eyetofuk record on this split picks up right where Wankfest 2666 left off. The songs are short, really fucking bizarre, filled with porno sampling and is just dirty, disgusting and catchy as fuck. My only complaint is there's only 8 tracks and 12 and a half minutes of music on this effort. I'm eager to hear how fucked up a full 30 minute album would sound.

Putrid Whore are more instrument-driven than their Lithuanian counterparts, with a thick meaty guitar chugging like a chainsaw through 6 tracks of demented simplistic goregrind. The bass is thicker than a fat chick's thighs and the riffing is aggressive and punishing, with a decently well programmed drum machine backing the guitars and throaty pitch shifted vocals and weird samples rounding out the band's sound. Clocking in at just over 12 minutes I'm left wanting more.

14 tracks in 24 minutes is what you'll get with this split offering. Both bands have a very lo-fi approach and both do it exceptionally well and somehow the two seemingly opposite styled bands sound perfect when played back to back. I look forward to hearing more material from both of these bands! If you like simple, fun and completely ridiculous grind, this album is a must listen! I'm definitely gonna be listening to this one a lot!

Another foray in to juvenile Gore Metal, how sweet that is for me. Seriously, how old do you have to be to get over the pretend sexual-fetish of a perverted killer? Not the fans I mean, but the musicians? I normally don't give a shit about the lyrics but since this genre of Metal rely so heavily on samples of the ridiculous throughout it becomes a de facto issue.

EYETOFUK are not your regular guttural Gore band however, though they certainly contain all the necessary elements to be so: walls of monotonous guitars, low end twisted vocals and said samples. What sets these Lithuanians apart is that they are also an Industrial band; their beats straight out of a rave or in part from older MINISTRY. I have little experience with this strain of Metal, and having listened to this effort a number of times I think I know why: it fucking blows goat balls! I could ask my roommate what bpm they are playing at but I don't give a toss. EYETOFUK's segment of this split is nothing but an incoherent mesh of blasts, grunts and groans, with a liberal dose of infantile clips that are either from bad slasher flicks or probably made up for some of the songs. Either way, I couldn't wait for EYETOFUK to Fuk (how cool is it to keep misspelling fuck!!!) off!

After a classical intro in "On Your Face I Shit & Cum", PUTRID WHORE have a riff that is better than anything EYETOFUK presents in all of their songs combined; a slab of sheer Death that is out to rattle you. That it is accompanied by a Gore grunt annoys me a bit but I'm willing to go along. During the middle of the song they break out a short circus arrangement that makes me wonder if I'm in for the musical equivalent of Fellini's 8 ½, but the song goes on to punch with killer riffage. A song like "Involontary Eyeshot" (their spelling by the way) is a by-the-numbers Gore/Grind song but it is good and if you enjoy low end, pummelling Metal it will have you swaying with its grooving riffs.

"Rectal Teen Masturbation" has a really nice opening riff, groove oriented which then speeds up and rides along with some sound percussive mixtures. PUTRID WHORE know how to write Gore and as their entries into the split continue you can tell they are a decent talent who with some direction and better production could make some waves in their respective Metal genre. Their last track gets dragged down in an Industrial beat, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt since the rest of their songs were straight Gore/Death. The best thing they could do is get the fuck away from EYETOFUK and either find a far better band to record a split with or do their own demo with.

Here we have a split from two entirely different bands. Eyetofuk an elctro-cybergrind band lead by sicko Xlip from Vilnius,  Lithuania. And we have Putrid Whore from Rome, Florence, Italy, who are pretty much a brutal grind band. I'm a huge fan of both bands so here is my take on "Drufuked and Pornified"

I'm going to start of with Eyetofuk's effort of this split which is basically an insane mix of samples, alien like vocals, chugging riffs, almost techo like breakdowns, lots of electronics, and what I'm pretty sure is some drum programs. You can tell from the opening track this album is going to be a good one. Xlip basically uses a barrage of samples of people having sex, burping, gurgling, and other odd sounds in a attempt to make what sounds like almost hallucagine like music. There is also a lot of vocal effects on this album such as slowing down of the vocals and such, but the vocals over all are absolutely superb with Xlip sounding like he just crawled out of a crater from a far away planet and started screaming into a mike. It's really hard to categorize what he sounds like because he uses such an insane vocal style. In some songs (Unifuk Zombie) the closest thing I could compare it to is a disgusting form of chanting. On other songs though (In Fuk I Thrust) he uses that out of control, insane, almost shreiking that we all came to love on "Wankfest 666". It appears a guitarist (T-Roll) and bass player (Krilz) have joined the band and they do a fine job on their parts with T-Roll chugging along with the crazy samples throughout the album. The guitar is all pretty much simplistic, pounding riffs. But when I say simplistic riffs it isn't band at all in Eyetofuk's case because T-Roll does such a damn fine job of it. As simplictic as the guitar is the riffs are actually quite fun and pretty damn catchy not to mention I catch myself humming them in my head long after I'm done listening to the album. That's one major factor that makes this album good the riffs are all for the most part actually memorable. I can't really make out the bass work but I'm sure it follows the guitar well. You can tell from all the programming and samples on this album that Xlip puts a lot of time and effort into his music and it shows. Respect to you Xlip for making one of the most memorable cyberporn albums in my collection! Cybergrind acts usually bore me but since Eyetofuk's "Wankfest 666" I've adored them and they are by far in my opinion one of the best cybergrind acts out there and you definately need to check them out. To be honest the material on here didn't quite match up to pure insanity of "Wankfest 666" but it's good in it's own way too.

Now onto Italian grinders Putrid Whore, a two man grind outfit. These guys can only be put into one word. Disgusting. This is one of those bands I always show to virgin metal listeners just to gross them out. This is a one of my favorite grind cd's ever and as soon as you listen you'll see why. I'm not really sure if vocalist Francesco uses some kind of pitch shifter or if his vocals are just that amazing and disgusting. These are some top of line pitch shifting vocals (if I am correct that they use a pitch shifter) They sound simply breathtaking. It sounds like the dude's vocal cords are being thrown in a blender while hes puking. You really have to hear it to believe it. The guitars are chunky, and fat as hell and I love it. The guitar is a bit more technical I'd say than Eyetofuk but still a little on the simplistic side but that's never a bad thing in my book. This dude uses some heavy distortion or some sort of petal i'm sure to get that fat, brutal, pummeling tone, but at the same time all their tracks are crystal clear to the ears. I play along to these tracks with my bass a lot and they are all really fun and tight to play. Like Eyetofuk these guys use some samples but not nearly as much as their counterparts, and Mattia is absolutely at the top of his game when it comes to the programming on this album. I've heard A LOT of bands using drum programs out there but these guys really blew my mind with there use of intense drum-driven break-downs that will having you slamming your head non-stop. Props to you Putrid Whore for delivering a extremely worthy effort on the programming! At the end of the songs on the last track there is this insane almost trance like mash of programming that is "Please Fuck Me" which is nothing like the other songs but doesn't feel out of place either and adds a nice fresh touch to the album show-case's just how good of a programmer Mattia is (I'm assuming as the programmer he made this track) but there are some gurging vocals from Francesco to be heard in the midst of it all. Overall Putrid Whore own the italian grind scene for sure and I can't wait to get my hands on more of their material (suprisingly being a fan for about 5 months and listening to this split I still can't find any of their other material). But they are working on new material as we speak and I'm sure it will blow us all away. I will be supporting and promoting these guys as I have been 100%, but until next time a good, sick, and solid release from Putrid Whore.

Overall both bands are awesome and they are at the top of both of the genre's they do, and they sound great together on a split back to back even if they are completely different genres, but in MY personal taste I prefer the effort from Putrid Whore on here. But if you would have put Eyetofuk's "Wankfest 666" material on here instead and I had never heard them before it would have been a close one. Can't wait to here more from both bands. Whether your a fan of the italian grind scene, or cyberpronogrind you gotta get this split in your collection!

Let's start with EYTOFUK, first band on this split release, playing 8 tracks of… wow! actually it's pretty hard to clearly describe the music played by EYETOFUK!!! The band describes its own music as Electropornscumgrind. I guess it doesn't help you so much, but I'm finally ok with it, eheh! Indeed, the 8 tracks are just about Grind Death mixed with Electro / CyberGrind rhythms and beats and with a lot of originality! The originality of their music is mainly due to the guitar riffs, really basic Death and almost Thrash riffs, repetitively played with a high tempo, and melted with fast and well programmed drums including classic elements and sounds from Cyber and even Techno stuffs. Just add some (porn) samples here and there, Jungle beats and samples reminding of intro and sounds used by AHUMADO GRANUJO, putrid deep vocals and screaming backing vocals and you get the stuff!! Yeah I think the music played by EYETOFUK is not easy to imagine just reading these few words, but really it sounds original, brutal, also funny and 100% honest!! Give them a chance by listening to thme, even if you're usually not so much into Cyber stuffs, etc…! Well, then comes PUTRID WHORE! I was waiting for new tracks from them since I really liked their previous split release with WHOREVIL!! So, what's new with PUTRID WHORE? They come on this new split with 6 new tracks of Goregrind in the logical same vein than on their previous stuff, but with a more professional feeling, and a more Brutal Death touch, especially in the style of the riffs, sometimes closer to bands like MORTICIAN. For the rest of the music they're still dealing with nice Goregrind with programmed drums, reminding of DECOMPOSING SERENITY with a nice groove in the CBT style! Really, really good Gore Death Grind from PUTRID WHORE, also including samples from times to times in their music, but less often than EYETOFUK. Definitely PUTRID WHORE is clearly focused on catchy riffs. They don't try to be as fast as possible, but they know how to create a nice groove, with programmed drums too!! I'm 100% satisfied with this new PUTRID WHORE side, and after these 2 split releases I guess it could time for a full length release now!!! Well… to conclude here's a very good split CD, coming with 2 rather different bands. To be honest I'm clearly more interested by the PUTRID WHRE side, dealing with the brutal stuffs I usually listen to, but I really like the inventive side of EYETOFUK!! Excellent release! BUY OR DIE!!!

Eyetofuk/Putrid Whore - Drufuked and Pornified

Oo-er! The scum-caked depths of the Grind/Gore underground frequently throws up chunky spew-geysers such as this. Sloppy splits full of lo-fi Cyber/Noise/Shitgrind, hastily thrown together by a couple of Electroblast reprobates while off their mash on ecstasy pipes. The releases are often cack-handed and extremely twee; bouncy VST instruments, crude guitarwork (if any), tiresome film clips and heavily processed vokill slosh, wrapped in the sort of gratuitously pornographic, deliberately offensive packagin' and lyrical matter that has countless connotations of good-time depravity! This kind of stuff is often very hit and miss, but in a particular type of way; if it's a miss it's often just a seethin' heap of uninspired SMES clonin' or Libido Airbag copyism, if it's a hit it's a very sugary, woozy one that leaves a guilty, yeasty taste in your mouth. This split is slightly different from all that though, seeing as it's just the lead band that sport the heaviest Industrial/Electrogrind influences, and the other, whilst driven by programmed drums, prefer to perform their Porngrind without bothering with all the other Cyber decorations. Either way, the collective work is definitely of the instant fix variety, so forget everything else for twenty five mins and take a hearty glug!

Lithuanian three-piece Eyetofuk open up, with their fourth release, which is a veritable cavalcade of rumblin', strobin', disorientatin' Cyberpornogrind. This is actually much better than I'd imagined! Sensibly, the guitar is the seethin' nub of nerve endings that hangs repulsively from the very arse-gut of the material, leadin' each tune through a jumble of different stages with its bawdy, barbed wire riffin', allowin' the other, typical Electrogrind elements like poundin' club beats, peculiar patches 'n' pads, stock film samples, prog-drum daftness and all the colours of the pitchshifted vokill rainbow to congregate around it. Rather than adherin' strictly to one slobbery pitchshifted sound throughout, the vox are all over the place; you've got bile-expectoratin' snarls, viscous slosh-vox, flange-soaked growls and robotic gutturals. Like a lot of stuff of this ilk, the songs are like colourful Cyberscapes; simple but well-timed and tightly delivered riffs whirrin' and widdlin' all over the place, interspersed by funny little breaks with funny little sounds in them, splattered with hilarious vox, multi-hued percussion and alienesque sound effects, resultin' in quite an engagin', memorable piece of shite.

Influences-wise, there are all kinds woven into this heap of human excrement. The guitarwork is like a heinous hybrid of Amoebic Dysentery and Bolt Thrower, which sounds ridiculous in print but actually works very well. The voks remind me of numerous acts who are very fond of their pitchshifters, for example Libido Airbag, LDOH and Rompeprop, but with the unabashed daftness of someone like Urethral Enema or Bloody Diarrhoea. I can also hear chloroformed and pornified bits of the more discordant works of IDM musicians from the UK, such as u-Ziq, Aphex Twin and Autechre. The cohesive meldin' of analogue guitar/bass and digital daftness reminds me of recent Fucksaw stuff, but with gaudy electronics and over the top drum programmin' that remind of the most hallucinogenic sections of Ahumado Granujo and bits of Inherited Cryptorchidism by Pustulated, whilst elsewhere you might find more overt Cybergrind slop like Intense Soaked Cloth, KOTS and maybe Tumour.

'Cos many of the sounds that emanates from this steamin' heap are digital, most of them sound clear and uncluttered, with the guitar and vox addin' the contrastin' layers of fuzz, which gives the work a half gleamin', half besoiled quality.

Lyrical matter? Wanton stupidity that offers such gems as "In Fuk I Thrust", "I Ate Her Fuk" and "Be Fuked". The cover art is obvious but semi-creative; a collage of greedy-fellatio snaps obscured behind a transparent sound-wave graphic, to make it look like a still from a seedy ol' VHS copy. Inside, you've got a pic of the degenerates themselves, with their tattoos, piercings, mask, shades and gurny expressions. They all look very greasy indeed.

Eyetofuk. A good Cybergrind product. If you're already into this sort of stuff, then you can't go wrong with EyetoFuk. If you enjoy both Electronic music and Death/Grind with a humorous edge, then you'll probably like this. If the thought of such musical hideousity curdles your chyme, then steer well clear.

Italian band Putrid Whore round things off, with a blunt yet crushin' crossover of Porno/Goregrind and Brutal Death, marryin' Neanderthal, club-wielding chugment and clinical prog-drum synthetics to an eccentric edge, narratin' the thing with some standard guttural pitchshiftery. The tunes are fairly straightforward, goin' from hectic bashin' to septic bangin', lobbin' the song back and forth 'tween high-speed string-lash to sluggish thug chuggery to get yer limbs flailin' around in a Neanderthal fashion. You can tell they're programmed right from the first beat, but the drums add much punch, albeit plasticky, what with their skull-powderin' blasts, rollin' fills and thrombulatin' kicks. Whilst they have a fair bit of bite to them, the vox are just standard guttural porcine mutterings, rangin' from the kind of deep, abdominal tuggin' grunts to red-faced, coiled-tongue gobwork that you've heard countless times before elsewhere. In addition, there's a smatterin' of erratic electronic highlights, with each poppin' up from out of the gun-metal grindmud to bring peculiar shaped splashes of colour to the thing. The final song has a heavy Cybergrind influence, and is completely digital; it's clunky as a stegosaurus tryin' to walk downstairs in heels, but still good fun nonetheless.

A fair few Porno/Goregrind bands come to mind whilst listenin' to Putrid Whore, especially durin' the slow, lurchin' chugparts and infectious buzzsaw riffin'. The lewd, slitherin' groovy sections makes Menstrual Stomphulk by Rompeprop an obvious comparison, but their slower, mindless bits sound a little like the smelly sewer-boogie of folk like Stoma and Plasma, but with the clattery drum-daftness of seminal one-man act Decomposin' Serenity. When this synthetic rattlin' is used alongside the more broootal sections, sounds a bit like any ol' Mortician, with the hood-chug feel of Soils of Fate, plus the lo-fi Brutal Death basement feel of someone very recent like Ceremonial Embludgeonment, while the sprinkles of electronic quirkiness remind me of aforementioned Czech-nuts Bloody Diahorrea. Of course, parts of this are rather monotonous and may dullify your head, so expect some Bitch Infection style empty-chug.

In terms of production, this is a fairly solid thing. The guitars are dense, chunky 'n' weighty enough for the style, without becomin' smothered under too much cloggy grain or fuzzy fizz. Bein' programmed, there's no huge risk of buggerin' up the drum sound through careless microphone selection and/or placement, so they sound nice and clear, but the vox seem to pop in and out of the mix a bit, dependin' on what sound they're making; the natural soundin' growls often sit on top, but the swampy pitchshifted slaver seems to slip underneath a bit.

The lyrical themes are of the usual, eloquent Pornogrind standard, offerin' such graceful motifs as "Rectal Teen Masturbation" and "On Your Face I Shit & Cum". Their choice of artwork is also highly appropriate, 'cos it's a bit of colourful childish scribble depictin' human debauch. Reminds me of a funnier version of patchy sketchings by Alfonso 'Artgore' Ruiz.

If you enjoy smutty Pornogrind caked in gelatinous Cyber substances, then this is for you. If you don't, then you'll surely see this for what it is: a noxious, discoloured audio-stool!
