My name is Haqq Islam and I represent Supa Nova Slom. Nova is an author, lecturer, activist and advocate for the improved health and wellness of today's youth, America, and the World community. He is a second-generation vegan and son of Queen Afua, the best-selling and celebrated author of "Sacred Woman" and "Heal Thy Self".

Nova's first book, entitled, "The Remedy; The Five Week Power Plan to Detox your System, Combat the Fat and Rebuild Your Mind and Body" is distributed by Harper Collins and will be in stores June 6th, 2009. In "The Remedy" and his City of Wellness Campaign Nova has solicited help from members of the entertainment community. Erykah Badu, Tyson Beckford, Hype Williams and many others give their personal prescription for health and wellness. They all are a part of the effort to improve the health of our youth, nation and world.

We are looking for 250,000 people to join our City Of Wellness Campaign by March 31, 2009. This campaign seeks to improve the health of our youth, all Americans and citizens of the world. Today diseases once viewed as only adult problems are crippling our youth. Obesity, hypertension, Type 2 diabetes and more are rising amongst today's youth at an alarming rate. In addition, America and the members of the world community are suffering from an increase in maladies and death that can be linked directly to bad diets, lack of exercise and inadequate drinking water. Our goal within "The City of Wellness" is to fight these disorders by distributing information, increasing awareness and becoming health activist. Your body functions as a city and all its parts body, mind and spirit work together to provide health and wellness. If you take care of your body, your body will take care of you.
