Dear friends,

Well, its getting more real, on Monday we are sailing to Portugal to start our journey going to Spain, Italy, France, Malta, Crete, Albania, Greece and ending in Turkey . This journey will take us four months. And after that will head to Sudan for another 2 months. In this last week the crew form the ship and the staff got to know each other and worked together on the boat. We had sail training, and I did things that I never thought I will ever do. I think I will go back home being the captain of the ship . A lot of what I am learning is about leadership development and I am enjoying it.

Tomorrow the students will arrive so our program with them begins. There is eleven of them from |USA, Germany, Ferro Island, France and Paraguay. We will have lectures during the first four months and some outreaches in different cities along the Mediterranean. We started to pray for the locations of the outreach and some of the options are Rwanda, Palestine/Israel, Turkey and Sudan. Personally my heart beats strongly for Sudan.

Probably I will not be able to be in contact with you until we arrive in Malaga, in October, due to the lack of internet connection on board. But I will keep you posted as much as I can and I will appreciate your prayers along this journey.
