So this weekend was really fun. This past Sunday, my big bro, Chris and my now sis-in-law April just got married. It was a beautiful and amazing event. I think getting married is the icing on the cake to committing your life to one another for the sake of love. I think in our times 'Love' can be misunderstood and forced upon. With the media making sex, cheating, multiple partners, etc. popular, i want to tell you...STOP ACTING LIKE THAT! and if you don't believe me...look at the hits these days...Drake & Lil Wayne telling people its okay to 'f*ck every girl in the world'. come on now....this is what we are telling our youth whats ok to do. Would you like your little sister strutting around looking for sex or falling for those guys. Better yet, your future daughter? Do you really want your son to be 'pimping all over the world' or having 'hoes in different area codes'. (these 'celebrities' really need to be better role models and the media and VIEWERS/LISTENERS need to really change what is popular) Think about it.. ANYWAYS, if you find that special someone, don't be afraid to express yourself and commit to one another. love is not forced upon but GIVEN as a special feeling and bond between two people. my tips are to be TRUE to one another. and give one another freedom when needed. that freedom tip was straight from a priest! don't get mad at something and dwell on it just to continue on and fight. express what you believe is wrong, agree on something and move on and continue to love. the most important thing is to TELL your significant other 'i love you'. So back to the wedding....i knew my brother and sister in law loved each other but i saw HOW MUCH THEY LOVED EACH OTHER to the fullest degree at the wedding! The way they looked at each other, the way they let all their emotions out, you just had to be there. I hope one day i get to experience the same thing. I hope YOU do also! I caught the garter! and here is a personalized gift for being a groomsman (excuse me if this is gibberish. but hopefully you can feel what im trying to say. im not the best at the subject of english. haha. neither do i proof read my stuff. haha) Plus i'd say it was appropriate for me to draw this the day after the wedding: PS-I love Christy Villanueva! it'll be 3 years next month :) check out her blog: HERE PEACE AND LOVE AND LISTEN TO MUSIQ SOULCHILD-"TEACH ME" haha. (if you think this entry was too soft...maybe you are just too HARD. (pause) . I'm just being real and that's the way i am. cut the gimmicks)
