If you're not familar with Dave Huismans by now, get to know! The highly skilled Dutch dude has wrecked everyone with his dubstep and broke-step releases for Tectonic and Subsolo over the last couple of years blending garage, techno, house and dubstep functions, but for this release he's concentrated on the House element for Clone's new no-nonsense Basement series. 'Wire' starts the session with groovy square basslines and shuffled housing patterns, before 'Bounce' dips in with swooping bass and cracking Shake alike percussion. Keeping up the vibe 'Disconnect' trips out on warm chords and a hazy dancefloor atmosphere underlined with studied Chicago beats, while 'On&On' jacks up with a supremely crafty rhythm stuttering with crisp handclaps and pulsing acid bass. Badass!

Second on the Clone Basement Series comes from Dave Huismans aka 2562 with his A Made Up Sound project. "Archive" contains four raw house tracks from the vaults with their roots in Detroit and Chicago house. "Bounce" and "Disconnect" combine the best of two worlds: the more traditional sample based house grooves and the spacious sounds and wrenching sub bass that have become his trademark. The same goes for the other two tracks... "Wire" is a phat acid track with a great drive. A strange atmosphere and a unique combination of classic structures with new and old sounds. This track will make sure that the sweat is dripping off those basement walls! Finally "On & On" has that catchy drunken beat slightly reminding of some Theo Parrish productions finished with futuristic technoid synth stabs and pulsating acid-ish bass sounds that make this a great abstract & stripped-down house work out! Killer!

Ahhh Just previewed the tracks on clone.nl - such concrete rollers! A made up sound is a really fruitful project, since the early demo tracks, and now pushing its unique sound further.
Much respect!
