Who Gives Kudos:

Saturday, April 14, 2007
After 8 years,Chris ( a.k.a Gunner) Mcgrath has decided to leave Much The Same. This decision is something that everyone agreed was the best for himself and the band. This however, by no means is the end of our band. We are still heading to Canada with our good friend, Rod (who will also be playing the Only Crime/No Trigger dates.) He also plays bass for the Chicago band Counterpunch, and we thank them for letting us borrow him. Soon after that we are looking forward to writing a new record that we feel will truly reflect who we are and where we are going. We don't plan on having any open tryouts just yet. We hope to see you all at the shows and we'll keep you posted.

Thanks everyone,

Frank, Dan, and Jevin

For the record, that was the great show I ever had and I'm sorry they cut us short.. I was pretty bummed that my favorite crowd in the world only got to sing along for half a set. Believe me when I say that Spain will go down as my favorite country we ever went to!

That´s what I said when you came here to Bilbao, all the good bands are disapearing as we knew them (Break the silence, satanic surfers, good riddance, now you...) :(

Cheers from Bilbao!

Good luck I guess, I cant help but be totally fuckin pissed though. After just getting into the band with Survive, buying the hoodies, donating to the relief fund so in symbolism I could see you guys come to Calgary some day to play a show this is bullshit frankly. This is my initial bitterness to the situation but Im so sick of investing in bands that just go into their prime and then change and or deal with the quitting of their lead singer. That being said I will be open minded to whatever the next record sounds like as I have been with Comeback Kid. P.S Although Im not being very nice here, punkrock is about speaking your mind and I dont think Im the only one thinking some of these same things and what Im seeing on here and on Gunners page is a whole lota ass kissing right now.

frankly, that was the best decision you could possbly have made from what I have read and heard! I hope you guys find a competent singer who can replace Gunners great voice, though!
greetings and the best wishes from Germany (Berlin - the capital - the best place for punk rock shows in Germany - the city you did NOT play :-/...)
