On Monday the 13th July 2009 Steve And Gaz from The First Seven took Part in a very special event. It was the UK's first World Record Breaking attempt which will brought together more than 600 drummers all under one roof!!

The aim was not only raise the profile of drumming, but also raise
thousands of pounds for the MS Society and to help improve awareness about Multiple Sclerosis.
MS is debilitating condition that affects almost 2.5 million people worldwide,
with around 50 a week diagnosed in the UK.
Together we brought drumming to the masses to produce the most spectacular drumming event ever to be seen or heard, in the UK.
It was truly Amazing to be part of the event and Steve and Gaz hit those drums hard...Steve Odviously is more used to holding a guitar so it made a change!!
There were lots of world class drummers on hand on the day to take part in the world record braking event including Jo Jo Mayer, Jason Bittner (shadows Fall) Greg Bissonette( David lee roth/ Joe Satriani / Spinal Tap And many many more....The whole show was compared by John Thompson from cold Feet/ Corrie Fame. And the record was broken....To hear the sound of almost 600 drummers playing at the same time was truly insane.....and it made news headlines around the world..Wow....
