USL-2: Stars Give Up 2 in 2-All Draw

John DeVae and Jack Cummings played the majority of the match for the Cleveland City Stars as they faced Harrisburg City Islanders on Saturday.

The Stars started the game with two goals in the first half, but ended up conceding two to Harrisburg in the second half. The match finished in a 2-2 draw.

Elsewhere, the Cincinnati Kings had a busy weekend with matches on Friday and Saturday. Tiest Sondaal, Salvatore Fiore, Mike McGinlay, and Thies Hermann all saw action for the Kings over the weekend, but Kings still managed to drop results in both with a 3-5 loss to Charlotte and an 0-2 loss to Wilmington.

The Richmond Kickers battled the Western Mass Pioneers to a 2-2 draw. Mass Twisters stars Fredrico Molinari and Jeff Deren connected to score the equalizer to save a point for the Pioneers, who are still missing Everson Maciel. Trey Alexander of the Excite returned for Richmond this weekend but spent his time on the bench.

USL-1

Michael Todd of the New York Surf saw second half action for the Charleston Battery after subbing in for Ian Fuller just after the half. The Battery claimed victory 2-1 over the Minnesota Thunder.

The Carolina Railhawks and Connally Edozien had the weekend off. However Edozien's goal from their May 25th win over Vancouver was named the goal of the week.

Gary Flood and the New England Revolution reserves had the weekend off.
