May 16-17, 1-5PM, do NOT miss the art exhibit at E.B. Bain Waterworks in Raleigh. This abandoned water plant is full of eclectic spaces and machinery, and some beautiful design work. It's been taken over for an art project, and will soon be converted into condos, so go see it in all its dilapidated glory while you still can! (My "Rosie the Riveter" photos and some of the steampunk photos were taken there.)

Memorial Day weekend the Raleigh Convention Center is being taken over by cosplayers!  May 22-24 is ANIMAZEMENT and it is HUGE. Event schedule now posted, and day passes are available.
