Looking for something kind of romantic and lyrical to help you celebrate on this upcoming Valentine's Day weekend? Searching for ideas for an interesting and fun date night?
Maybe you have already noticed on the
www.sanjosejazz.org website that
WorlView 5.0 will bring their unique sound to
City Lights Theater in San Jose this
Sunday, February 15th at 7pm.
We will be playing mellow tunes you and your Valentine will enjoy from the Great American Song Book, as well as selections from our CD WorlView, songs from our upcoming CD "WorlView Live at Filoli" and material from our "Tribute To Freddie Hubbard" concert at Yoshi's last January.
This special Jazz Showcase concert is produced by San Jose Jazz and City Lights Theater. Also, special mention goes to Matt Beasley for all of his hard work in creating performance venues like this for local jazz artists in the Bay Area. Thanks Matt!!!
Our good friend and melodious guitarist, Sebastien Lanson from Paris will join WorlView for this concert. So please, lose that cabin fever. Come out and help us celebrate this weekend of tributes to Cupid & the folks we adore.
Best Wishes,
John Worley and WorlView 5.0
Murray Low-piano
Tom Bockhold-bass
Paul VanWageningen-drums
Sebastien Lanson-guitar
and yours truly,
John Worley-trumpet, post horn and flugal de amor....
