Rock On Preston RockOnPreston was created to help promote local bands in Preston and the surrounding areas, to help them get heard by a wider crowd. The Idea is to create CDs featuring a handful of the best music this area has to offer. CD's will be sold at gigs, shops, online and by the bands taking part. Details of these gigs will be announced here so keep your eyes pealed. If you are in a Rock/Metal/Alt/Punk band in Preston, get in touch!
ROP was set up back in Oct 2008 with the 1st release going on sale in March 2009. The 1st CD seen many sales and helped many bands get a little more recognition and gigs around the Northwest.
Now almost a year later, ROP are due for thier 2nd CD release and Oct 2009 will see Rock On Prestons 1st monthly gig night. Hopefully many more to come.
