As one half of The Geisha Disco Boyz, Kikiorix has been rocking dancefloors in London since he moved there in 2005. Their Holic residency at AKA / The End has become an unmissable event on the tech house calendar.
His previous productions on Phonique's Ladies and Gentlemen and Kingsize (formerly Adrift) have received support from DJs such as John Digweed, X-Press 2, Damian Lazarus, Ewan Pearson and Switch.
Now back in Tokyo we are thrilled to announce the release of his debut for ACR: The "Balance EP"

Balance is a deep electro tinged cut that precisely fuses synth percussion with lucious deep pads. Throw in a few castanets and some latin snares and the result is a rolling track that bridges the organic and the mechanical. You could say it strikes a balance between the two.

Game Over is sublime piece of deep tech house. Intricate polyrhythms underpin synth pads that ebb and flow throughout gradually building to a euphoric peak in the middle of the track. Elements seem to appear and disappear without you noticing while unexpected stabs and reverbs punctuate the mix.

The dub mix of Game Over is a more minimal affair. With different bass and pad parts it feels like a tune in its own right. Perfect for warm up or end of the night, the track has a definite old school feel reminiscent of early New York house and is a must for those who love that sound.
