Well Saturday (28th) will be my last day in my current job, I have been made redundant, I was given just 9 days notice...  I went to the job centre today and asked if I could speak to somebody with regard to finding a new job, the man on the reception asked "are you claiming benefits" "no" I replied, he then said "im sorry you cant see anyone" so I told him my problem and that if I dont find another job by Monday 2nd March I WILL be on benefits, he then told me to come back on that date, sign on as unemployed and then they can help me!!!  WTF, can anyone else see whats wrong with that??? I dont want to be unemployed, I want to find another job BEFORE that happens, thats why I asked for help in  finding vacancies...
So to cut a long story short, if your working and paying your taxes you are not entitled to make use of the services you are paying towards, on the other hand, if you dont work and dont pay your taxes, you ARE entitled to use the services that you DONT pay towards, how f***ing backwards is this country of ours..........
