I hope you have been enjoying the holidays. I have. A lot. I have finally achieved a goal of my as I have now had dinner at a Michelin rated restaurant, Providence (two star at that). I have never had such food. 18 courses of pure decadence and glory all paired with wine. It seems a bit like a dream, a very very tasty dream. It was also a very long dream since the dinner was 5 and a half hours. A couple course I had: Sea Urchin with puréed cauliflower Squid pad thai Fois Gras with Eel (and lots o truffles) Halibut with some sort of tasty foam and sake The best cheese platter of my life Barley ice cream with north star cherries Burnt Carmel Ice cream with chocolate truffles Lots of tasty wine
