So, the Lakers lost. We went to one game and thought they had it but, they didn't. Are they going to be able to get back there (Finals) next year?

Ric: Most definitely, they just need to finish strong in the west. Especially the Spurs; Ginobli was a little hurt this year so it was a little easier road (to the Finals) but they will be one year older. The Lakers are a young team they just need to trade Lamar Odom.

Why Odom?

Ric: We need someone who will show up everyday and not "part-time" it. They don't pay him "part-time" they pay him for "full-time". So they need someone who will show up everyday.

Main keys: Win the West and Trade Odom? You think that's enough to win it all?

Ric: Yes, plus Bynum is coming back in the middle so Gasol can do his finesse thing on the side…

Who do you get in exchange for Odom?

Ric: Well it's easier to talk free agents, huh? Who's out there?

Well, there is: Ron Artest, Richard Jefferson, Antawn Jamison, and some others…

Ric: Richard Jefferson from the Nets is a nice fit. Artest is too much of a star player; he might not share the ball. You want someone who can walk into the role and not need the ball to make a difference.

Jefferson would be "down" with system more…

Ric: I think so; more of a team player but with a lot more consistency. I like Odom but I like the Lakers more.

Here is a random question. You have some tattoos but who has the best "tats" in the NBA?

Ric: Iverson is at the top of that list. I would say Dennis Rodman but he's not playing anymore (laughing).

Much oblige Ric!
