Aaaaah....where to begin?

The past two weeks on the road flew by.  Visiting friends & family along the way.  Portland, Ashland, Sonoma, Los Angeles, Oceanside, San Diego, Dallas, Nashville, northern Georgia & finally Orlando.

Shot a video in Malibu with my old buddy Jonathan Morrill from 1980's St Pete days.  My nephew Michael Fahey brought his perspective & an additional camera!  Post production should start soon for 'Walk At Dawn.'

The album is finished!  Thank you Phil Madeira for helping me take my songwriting to a new place.  For some reason collaborating always seemed intimidating -- with you it was an easy & natural experience.  

& what an assembly of exceptional talent:  Al Perkins, Chris Donohue, Ken Lewis, Dennis Holt....

& the icing on the cake:  mastering by the legendary Richard Dodd!

We're going to call the album Saltwater Soul....it's from a line in the chorus of 'St Johns River.' 

So, I'm back in Orlando where I grew up....geez, hard to believe.  First order of business is to get a music project (or two) going...I have my work cut out for me but I'm looking forward to the process.  Had it been in my power to kidnap all my favorite Portland musicians I'd have done it!
