Word. There's much to do this month at the CCC... and plenty of down time to just hang out too. The CCC is Milwaukee's premier social center and infoshop but it's only as cool as the folks who stop by and breathe life into it. So if you haven't been by in awhile, come with a friend and make yourselves some free coffee to share conversation over - or just stop by to read in the warmth of the afternoon sun that always fills the big front window. If you're looking for scheduled events, this month is full of them: .. Print Calender If you want to receive this info sooner and would like it more snazzy with hyperlinks and all, subscribe to the low-volume list-serv: https://lists.riseup.net/www/subscribe/cream_city_collectives

Game play is a unique blend of strategy, teamwork, and chance. The game uses a 78 card deck based on traditional Tarot decks and it's played in groups of 3, 4, or 5 players. Bring a deck of cards or other game to play! 4/17: Screen Printing Workshop and Collage Extravaganza! 6-8pm Come by at six to learn how to make prints, then practice on our huge sheets of paper to make a giant collective screen-printed collage. 4/18: Social Night! 6-11pm 4/23: Show! Organizing: 4/4, 11, 18, & 25: Letter writing to prisoners. Writing to support prisoners can be a lot easier and more enjoyable to do as a group, especially if it's your first time. Give it a try, and know that you're helping to create a network of support that will be there when the state decides that you should be locked up and harassed. 4/5, 12, 19, & 26: Bash Back! You're encouraged to join us to see how events are organized or to propose an event of your own.
Help! Our big need this month is help with promotion. Please pass this email on to friends you think would be interested and if you'd really like to help, print out the calendar or stop by the CCC to pick up May Day fliers to post up around town. Also, feel free to cross-post this to your listserv or other virtual hangouts. You could also make events and invite people through facebook to May Day, the show on the 23rd or any other larger event you'd like.
We can always use help with the Vegan Cafe. Please email or just show up to cook or clean for as long as you'd like.
Much Love,
