November 14 2008Overloaded is currently in the process of writing new material. In the mean time, I thought I'd post some unreleased demos we recorded at our rehearsal space back in summer of 2006.
The first demo I'd like to post is "Let the Chainsaw Rip". We played this song live twice, but never properly recorded it. I'm going to keep it up till next Friday November 21st, so take a minute and give it a listen!
Next Overloaded gig is Thanksgiving Eve at a new bar called Rockstarz located on Ford Road in Garden City, MI. Rockstarz was formerly called Jamies, and has yet to put up a new sign, so keep that in mind.
If you're a Detroit Overloaded fan, come out to these shows and represent. We don't play out much anymore on purpose. Honestly, these bands that play out every weekend at the same old dump bars are pathetic bitches. You scab bands are empowering these crooked club owners with their half-ass P.A. systems, deaf soundguys, radio shack light shows, and stuck up cunt bartenders.
Anyway, come see a show that's actually worth showing up to on Thanksgiving eve at Rockstarz in Garden City.

This coming Tuesday, Overloaded will be shooting a professional video at Tnt's. This is a chance to hear a sneak peak of Overloaded's version of Ramblin' Rose by the MC5 which was recorded a few weeks ago. Overloaded will also be peforming a few songs between takes as the night progresses. Come be a part of the video. Show up at Tnt's at 8 pm. This is a free event. Ages 18+ are admitted and the bar will be open.

Chris and Erik parted ways with Lorenzo, John, and Michael in January of 2008. Chris and Erik are continuing the Overloaded saga with a new rhythm section featuring Frank Sapartti on bass, Eli Brown on rhythm guitar, and Chris "Bootcheck" Buczek on drums. The new lineup performed their first show at the Blind Pig in ....Ann Arbor.... on ..4/29/08.., see the video

Overloaded has been asked to participate in a documentary centered around ....Detroit.... acts from the late 60's and early 70's. Overloaded will be recording a version of "Ramblin' Rose" by the MC5 for the documentary. A studio video will be shot for the song, and Overloaded will be performing the song as part of a big event Downtown along with other select ....Detroit.... acts on ..October 30

August 6 2007Thanks to all who made the cd release show August 3rd. It was a huge success. We filmed the entire show and you may end up if our dvd if you were up front! We don't have a deadline for the dvd, but we have been working on it for the past year. That being said - any bootleggers who attend our shows will be asked to put away their video cameras from now on. You're either with us, or against us.
The new cd Regeneration will be available for purchase through Cdbaby by the end of the week. Expect it on itunes approx 1 month after that.

July 24 2007Working hard to get our cd out on time. As of now, it is scheduled to be shipped August 1st. The cd release party is Friday August 3rd! This does not give any room for error. Right now, I'm awaiting the art proofs so I can get the cd into the final stage of production. Once again - thanks Morrisound for pushing the deadline and stress level to the max.
In other news, we are working with our video whiz Chris Honoway on a submission for both the American Band Contest and the upcoming WRIF Ted Nugent contest. We're submitting brand new footage for all the Overloaded soldiers out there. We could be lazy and re-submit the footage from last contest, but you know us better than that!

So we didn't win the Fox Rocks contest to open for Def Leppard, but we placed in the top bands. Did anyone notice we entered a brand new song for that contest "Flashy Girl"? In August we will be entering the WRIF contest to open for Ted Nugent. The WRIF contests are better because you only have to vote once.

CLICK HERE We've booked 3 out of town shows in the month of August... a rock fest in Hell, Mi a show in Cleveland, and a show in Northern Michigan. Still working on a Flint show, so anyone with connections in Flint please contact us. Just mailed the master cd out to Discmakers today! Ofcourse we need all of you to attend our cd release party August 3rd at the Magic Bag. I'm very disappointed with Morrisound Studios at the moment. We spent a ton of money to get our cd mastered there, and the kids that get the coffee, answer phones, etc didn't mail the master back overnight. (update - i just got the cd's..... they were supposed to be mailed monday night. They were mailed Wednedsay. I mailed the material to Discmakers at 10 am today... recieved the Morrisound master at 3 pm. Why our project sat on a desk for 2 nights is beyond me) So, after spending all that money and delaying our project we can't use the Morrisound Studio master. Luckily Darren Trentacost did a good job for us at Midwest in the recording, mixing, and now mastering process. Finally, today is the last day to vote for OVERLOADED to open for Def Leppard at DTE.
