What's the point in going around and doing stuff, working to get a shitload-paying career, working to be popular, to be accepted, to be wealthy, to be well-known...? What's the point in trying to major in something cooler than the next person or trying to have all the coolest gadgets and hottest clothes?
We have about 80 years on this planet, sometimes less, and we humans waste time doing the most pointless things.
What does a lion do but mate, hunt, eat, and take care of his family/pride? Do we really need all the luxuries that come with money and popularity?
I have a decent family, decent friends, and a decent life so why should I want anything more? I don't care about money, nor fame, nor pride. What I want to do and know are things that actually matter, that actually transcend all this materialistic bullshit that humans have turned life into.
To live in a society where it's okay to not be extroverted, alright to show those "weak" (real) emotions, and promoted to lend a hand without reward, THAT is a society that would make me happy.
Afterall, take all that shit away...money, cars, mansions, gas, fame...and what's left? You, and me.
