Hi guys

Here's the first installment of the questions, I'll post the second half next week!

Yohanna, Are you planning to promote and tour in the United States?

Posted by Better Music Crusader

Hey !

Yes, I would love to. And my long-term goal is to be able to live and work in the U.S

But these things can take time, but hopefully I’ll be there very soon.

Thank you for your question:)

All the best

Yohanna

Are you going to come to Turkey İstanbul?
Posted by Elif

I was In Cesme this summer! I loved it.

I am still waiting for my touring plans, but it is likely that I’ll come to Istanbul sometime early next year.

All the best

Yohanna

Are you planning on of having a concert in America? Because your voice is so pure and I think you will do good here.
Posted by Kever

I really hope that I will be to come to the US soon,

I am still promoting "Butterflies And Elvis" in Europe. Hopefully after that I can come.

I have been working in the US a lot and I love being there, I miss it a lot, so as soon as the opportunity comes I’ll be there.

All the best

Yohanna

I've got 2 questions:

1. I've seen the commercial for cereals you made. How did that happen?

Did they ask you?

2. Do you get recognized when you're shopping etc. ?
Posted by Sophia

-1: Hey, and thank you for your question!

The company selling the cereal in Iceland contacted my manager because they were interested, I was very exited about it because it has been one of my favorite cereals for years.

-2:Sometimes in Iceland, but I am very fortunate to live there.

People that are known, are usually left alone in Iceland.

That is one of the reasons some very famous people love coming there for example Eric Clapton.

You were born in Denmark and in an Interview you say, your Parents went back to Island when you were two years old.  What kind of relationship do you have to Denmark? And could you speak a little bit the Danish language?
Posted by Lars

I was born there while my parents were studying. They moved back to Iceland with my two brothers and me when I was 2 years old.

My parents met a lot of Danish people that they still are good friends with today, I go there couple of times a year to visit.

I don’t speak a lot of Danish since I moved back so young.

We do learn it in school, but unfortunately it not enough to speak it fluently.

I can understand most of it, and read it quite easily.

All the best

This could be classed as an extension of Sophia's question regarding the cereal advert so I'll be intrigued as to how that particular question is answered (fingers crossed that it is). Having just returned from the US I was surprised (if not, delighted) to find a bit of Iceland right under my nose whilst there! SeaWorld, Hollywood Studios & the Sheridan resort I stayed at in Florida (to name a few) all stocked 'Icelandic Glacial Water' which is very nice! Would you consider doing a further advert for another product such as Icelandic Glacial if it helped promote you & your singing in other countries?

Posted by Andy

Thank you for the question Andy :)

Yes I would definitely consider doing advert for Icelandic water.

It is the best in the world in my opinion.

It could also make a beautiful commercial!

Hi Yohanna! Your Eurovision entry is very, very famous in Poland (was played by many radio stations and TV channels), so since when we can will buy you last album here? I want it now, but I can't find it :( and what do you think about this year Polish entry "I Don't Wanna Leave" by Lidia Kopania?

Lots of love and cheers from OGAE Poland,

Karol

Hey Karol, and thank you for your question

My album is coming out in Poland on the 9th of October!

So you should be able to get it in record stores very soon :)

I really liked the Polish entry this year, Lidia has a very beautiful voice, very beautiful girl too :)

All the best

Yohanna

Hej.

Q1: Where do you practice singing and where do you learn your new songs? Is everything done in the studios or do you have a special room in the basement of your family house, where no one can hear you?

Q2: How does your ordinary day look like?

-1:  Hey! Thank you for your question!

I usually practice in my living room. I try to work when no one is home, but my folks enjoy listening anyway so it is no big deal.

I also want them to hear what I’m doing so they can tell me what they think.

-2:  I usually wake up around nine, go to the gym. Then I come home and work on the computer for few hours.

Then I usually have some songs to learn or practice.

Than later in the day I often have internees, rehearsals and sometimes concerts, meetings and so on.

In the evening I like to relax, go to bed early or hang out with my friends.

Greetings from Slovenia!

I was going to ask about a possible U.S. visit, but since that's been asked many times already, then I'll ask something different. If you could do a duet with any artist in the world, who would it be and why??

Posted by Teefer

Hey Teefer!

I have dreamed of doing a duet with Don Henley for a long time, there is something about him and his voice that really moves me....

Then there is Robert Plant! He is my favorite male singer so I would do a duet with him any day.

But as you see my standards are very high, so it is not very likely these duets will happen! :)

All the best

Yohanna

Will you perform in Germany?
Posted by Viktor

Hey Viktor !

I am still waiting for my touring plans, but I hope I will be able to come there early next year.

Thank you for your question :)

How did you like Moscow when you were staying there in May?

Did you have time for seeing some sights of it?

And finally: are you planning to have any concerts there?
Posted by Lana

Hey Lana.

I really liked Moscow,

But sadly I was so busy that I did not have much time to look around.

But I did get a chance to see the read square, it was beautiful.

I loved the buildings in Moscow as well, extremely beautiful.

My record is coming out in Russia in the next few weeks, so it will probably be soon!

Thank you for your question
