I just returned from a great weekend in New York City, where I played a house concert with the ineffable Brittany Haas. We were thrilled to have Natalie Haas and Yann Falquet as special guests. The brownstone sure was rockin' by the end of it all with two fiddles (one had 5 strings), one cello, and a guitar (19 strings in all). It was a good day. Not only did I partake in a late night fajita somewhere on Broadway, I was honored with the 11th best parking space in the City. Natalie got the 8th best, much to my chagrin.
Then, Sunday morning, Britt and I were guests on Matt Winters' Moonshine Show on WKCR. Matt does a great job with the show. Actually, you should probably stop reading some random musician's blog and go find the website for the show. Maybe it's streaming live, right this instant. Go, go!!
