So, I got to go once again to the Traffic Diversion School. The last time I remembered that I went completely online. This time, I found that the online program still required me to fill out forms and fax or mail them. So I opted to be a socialite and attend a class held at Quality Inn on West Bell Rd off 55th Av.
This class had a few rowdy gals in it. I met another Z buff, and made a new friend. The teacher was a super nice guy.
We watched some safety videos about "road rage", "it happened to me" personal experiences like one guy who was drunk hit a tree and flew through his truck window and his truck actually ran him over and he was left handicapped and in a wheelchair. Another story was a really dumb lady who decided to try to pass a train crossing and became paralyzed because that train hit her vehicle. Another video was kinda cool. It was a study held in Mesa Arizona at the GM Proving Grounds. Some researchers were trying to establish if the effects of lack of sleep had similar disasterous results as drunken driving. The driving skills of both the drunks and the lack of sleepers really deteriorated.
Anyway, enough with the boring. I just want to recommend this company Traffic 101 is you want to keep a traffic citation off your record and could be eligible for Traffic School.
I know theres a bunch of partying going on but I just want to stop and say, mixing alcohol or drugs and driving especially around the holidays is a dangerous mix. Please consider some stories you may have heard about somebody being killed by a drunken driver, or somebody losing their life
because they got behind the wheel of a car when totally under the influence of something.
Peace and happy holidays to all.
