Created in Melbourne in 2005 by a passionate team of volunteers to be everything we ever wanted in one live music event! Helping artists who are seen to be helping themselves is what we're all about. It's an extra 'leg-up' to assist emerging talent ...here's the fat..

We're not genre specific - each Sneak Peek event caters for a different style, so we can spread the love around!

Our guest list includes a growing number of A&R reps, Publicists, Producers, Artist Managers, Bookers, Promoters, Reviewers, Photographers & Industry Associations. After receiving our promotional material, they are able to see up to 5 up & coming local acts at once.

Sneak Peek provides an ideal networking atmosphere for artists to interact with fans, other artists within their genre & attending industry reps.

Valuable exposure via our media sponsors is undertaken on the artists' behalf prior to & following each event. Artists are also offered a promotional opportunites through these mediums leading up to their Sneak Peek appearance.

Payment for artists is the professionally recorded & edited DVD we produce showcasing their Sneak Peek performance. It also includes an intervie with our host 'Mike J', artist bio, still shots & a studio track - a very rewarding tool for future self-promotion. This content also reaches far & wide into the music community & is rotated on our website, Myspace & Youtube pages.

A backline is provided by an all Aussie line-up of manufacturers – Ashton Music & GAS Custom Drums. Sound & lighting engineers & catering at no cost too!

Sample CDs unique to each event, with a track from every artist are free on entry. They're used as a promotional tool to accompany the Press Release & artists can also distribute them to fans so they can get acquainted with the entire line-up before the event!

Sneak Peek rejects making artists' pre sell tickets but they can if they want to. Individual crowd numbers are not recorded, there is generally no 'headline' act and a relaxed but well organised atmosphere is ensured for everyone!

The event runs one Thursday a month at The Evelyn Hotel in Fitzroy & applications are always open...so what are you waiting for?
