Obsessed - Once a closet disorder, OCD sufferers sharing quirks.

"I'm an all-American guy. No one would look at me in a million years and think I had this.

My motivation was to open it up and put a better picture on OCD.  It's something I'm not proud to have.  But I have it and I'm not afraid to talk about it."

On-off. On-off. On-off.  Bob Hobbs Jr. repeatedly flicks the light switch on the back patio of his posh Paradise Valley home.  On-off. On-off. On-off.  The ritual stops once it "feels right."  "It sounds funny," says the 37-year-old Valley native and motivational speaker. "I joke that my neighbors think I'm doing Morse code."

No longer ashamed of their secret rituals, people like Hobbs and Schwab are opening up about their experiences with OCD, hoping to shed a positive light on what is for many a mentally crippling disorder.  Click here to read full story.

Anthony Robles - A True Inspiration

Recently I became friends with an incredible young man.  Someone I also have the privilege of mentoring during his years at Arizona State University.  Someone who is a true inspiration.  Despite being born with only one leg, Anthony Robles became one of the top high school wrestlers in the nation.  Winning the Arizona state championship on two occasions and ultimately the 2006 High School Senior Nationals, Anthony took his talent to the next level and now wrestles for national powerhouse Arizona State University.  Currently rated 16 in the NCAA National Rankings, Anthony was a finalist for the 2006 ESPY Award (Best Male Athlete with a Disability) and recipient of the 2007 Gene Autry Courage Award.

Judy Robles knew her son was different when he tore off his right leg and started to hop around the house on his left. Well, she had known he was different since birth, when he came into this world first with the head and shoulders, and one arm and then another arm, and one leg and then ... well, there wasn't another then. Anthony Robles came into the world with one leg.  Click here to read full story.

PANCREATIC CANCER SUCKS!

I have OCD too. It sucks. A lot. Sometimes I wish I rather had a physical disease. Even though those can be deadly. But so can OCD if it leads to depression...
