I'm amazed at the number of aspiring models that attend modeling conventions and modeling schools in this day and age. Why is that? Do you really believe that it is neccesary to pay thousands of dollars to see an agency?

when you live in a small town like iowa there aren't many opportunities for those like me to get involved in the entertainment business. ive been to convention auditions and of course make the cut like many other. they make it seem very glamorous and like were actually going to make it big just from spending 5,000 dollars on a convention. They state how many stars got there start by them. Maybe it was part of it, but not all. I wish there were more opportunites for me here:(

i agree with the girl below me. ive also been to those model scouting things where ive made the "cut" but then they want you to go to these schools and spend a crap load of money and its not even garauntteed that youll even model afterwards.  So then what's your suggestion to us??

You know, we really did create ModelTruth to help you with the reality that we hear story after sttory just like what you have shared. I just appeared on E! Entertainment Channel's LOVE RIDE about my discovery of Ashton Kutcher ten years ago, and the steps I took to get him placed. Although we went to a convention, I knew afterwards how unnecassary it was. I was able to get Ashton represenation before the convention even started, because agencies are ALWAYS looking for new faces, and there is a direct route to them that doesn't require expensive classes, conventions, and photo shoots.
The following year we attended our last convention and decided that we would make great changes in the modeing industry. For several years, we had our own event, and learned from that process that it was even simpler than that. With the advancements in digital photgraphy and the efficiency of the internet, you can submit yourself directly to the agencies, BUT, you MUST do it according to the specifications these agencies ask for. That's where the beauty of ModelTruth comes in- direct, specific advice & coaching on how to do it, out of the mouths of the top agenices in the world. If this is REALLY something you want to do, you can't afford not to have this information.
ModelTruth wants to help you get the BEST shot possible..., the best advice from the experts...all you have to do is take it

How many models have you sent to conventions, classes and photo shoots and how much money have you made by doing that?

I did read it and that is why I asked my questions. My questions have not been answered.
