Well, apparantly someone needs to do some updating on the Flatfot haps.

We're halfway through recording a new record, tenatively titled Wild Was Our Mercy with Jim Diamond in Detroit.  The guys at Los Diaper records want to put it out on vinyl, and we're not very inclined to say no.  I've posted 2 new songs to give you a taste - Blueblood and Manowar.

Tom and Justin keep pouring out amazing new songs.  If you haven't gotten to see the new stuff, I highly encourage you to come check it out - you won't be sorry!

Working on a new cover with the guys got me thinking about all the songs we've played.  Here's a list from my memory - some were staples, others one time affairs - let me know if I missed any:

Folsom Prison Blues - Johnny Cash

Olympia, WA - Rancid

Key To My Heart - Doug Sahm

Born To Run - Springsteen

Ziggy Stardust - David Bowie

Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen

Victoria - The Kinks

The Weight - The Band

Do the Eastern Block get special credit for being the only band to cover a Flatfoot song? I feel we did Grandad justice.

The Eastern Block always deserves special credit! You guys killed that song, I'd say. In interest of full disclosure, we should mention that The Hard Lessons used to start "All Over This Town" with the slide riff and first verse to "Bottle For the Baby". But you guys are the only band to do a full sons.
