Description:The Rochelle Harper Band is a 6-piece soulful, rockin’ blues band that is most accuratly described as a "Genre Trip"! Rochelle Harper, the frontwoman and songwriter takes the stage and with her soulful voice and stage presence makes everyone in the crowd feel instantly connected with the music that the talented musicians in the band are playing. Collectively, Gary Boswell(lead guitar), Dan "Dr. Wind" Quibell(all saxaphones, muted coronet, flugle horn and flute), Derrell Brown(keys, organ, strings and horns), Corey Johnson(upright and electric bass) and Bay St. Louis Favorite, Harrell Bosarge(drums) have over 150 years experience and have opened for Musical Acts such as Vince Gill, Gatemouth Brown, Percy Sledge, Wet Willy and Derrell and Harrell were in the house band at the Dock with Blood, Sweat and Tears singer, "Fish" for 20 years! This band ignites the stage by doing what they love; playing music that comes from their souls. |
