Hey everyone, some of you might have been wondering whats been up with burgundy lately, and the answer to that quetion isn't one thats easy for us.

Over the past two months, all five of our members have been attending college. There are 4 different colleges between us, and basically the distance has really got the best of us. With daniel in fresno, andy in san luis obisbo, thomas and stephen in santa barbra, and griffin in irvine, there is several hundred miles between us. This makes it near impossible to practice, write music, and most importantly spend time with each other.

We have had to cancel our last 4 shows because not all of us can make it out. This is not only disappointing for us, but also for the people who came out to watch us. We did not want this to end like this, but we decided it would be best for everyone if we decided to call it quits.

I feel like everyone needs to know that we are all still very good friends and there wasnt some huge fight that ended the band. I truly feel like if we were all closer there would be no problems in the band.

Everyone should check out Daniels new band Cityfire. I watched them play last weekend and i can tell they are going to come up quick. As for the rest of us, we will be working on different musical projects in the future, so keep an eye out for those.


I know i speak for the band when i say, the times i have had with Burgundy are some of my favorite memories i have. Thanks to anyone who came out to a show, took a listen to our music, told a friend about us, bought a shirt, or just gave us a nice smile. You guys mean the world to us.
