So, tell me, what is it that you deeply want in life?

or, if you cannot get the above to work:

if i had more than 10 minutes to sit here, i could write a book on how silly these poor people are.

can i have an order of the power of God, with the name universe tagged onto it.
oh can i also get a side of denial.
and no guilt, or consequences for moral actions in life please.
thanks.

how frustrating it is.
when a man will turn his eyes so far from God, only to turn to the so called "supernatural" and imposable.

Too bad you don't have more than 10 minutes; maybe you could focus on having lots of free time in your life? :-) All kidding around aside, you may find a good book, the Prayer of Jabez, to be of interest. Every successful person knows, from Pastor John Maxwell to Stephen Covey, what you focus on is what you create in your life. Thoughts are much like prayers, and the Bible is full of examples of the power of the spoken word. Think it, speak it, act upon it, and you will see what you have been focusing on be revealed in your life. Any successful person who lives their dream (God's purpose for their life) knows this.

I'm not exactly sure of your reaction to the video...

Do you dislike it? Would you prefer the faith shown be labled a different way?  Do you think God is displeased with the concepts and lessons in the video? How would you do things differently?

Well, I'm taking the video as i feel it should be taken, at face value.
If you were to tell me that this video is a small snip of a much larger work of Christians displaying their faith in God and his infinity, and His constant workings in our lives . . . that may make things a little different.
But my largest complaint about this video is that not once did I count the name of Jesus, or hear mention of God, nor did I hear the word creation...> --> D(["mb","
I feel that this video is strongly tied into a pantheistic way of thinking...n
",1] ); D(["mb","That the "God" of the universe that is often spoken of in cultures around the world, is actually the universe its self?

I believe Peter said it the best:",1] ); //-->..>

I believe Peter said it the best:..> --> D(["mb","

18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, ..n19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, ..neven His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. ..n22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.
..n24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen...n

It is a sad time when a man hears the calling of God so strongly, but denies Him so totally, that to fill that gaping void in his chest, he looks to the creation and calls it his God.

Hey again Jacob!

Unfortunately the formatting of your post was mangled a bit, but I think I catch the gist of what you're getting at.

Being an analytical sort, I never enjoyed having someone tell me that they were right and I was wrong - I had, and wanted to, learn that on my own. I did not endorse, nor refute the clip. I simply found it "interesting", and thought to post it for others to formulate their own impressions. I'm glad you took the time to offer your views.

I suppose, in my life, I look for little successes. I know that in my pursuit in becoming a Christian, I was drawn to success principles, and obviously, through my investigation, I found that the Bible is the greatest book on success in every area of your life. People who are looking for answers will find them, much like the video suggests.

I'm passionate about people growing in their understanding of themselves. I believe that a relationship with our Creator will be the best asset in creating a life of abundance. I also feel, because of my journey, that professing to the "universe" (or whatever) will assist anyone in coming to know answers in life about our divine creation while they are still uncertain.

There are Godly, Christian principles tought everywhere, and for those who are afraid, or perhaps ignorant of Jesus, God, the Holy Spirit, or any other Christian precept, I am glad that they have a way that they can be reached, and perhaps touched.

Would our holy, merciful and loving God choose to erase this video and deny its existance? I think not. I think He would hope that we each live our lives to fullest capacity, building deep relationships and helping others to know Him in a similarly deep and passionate way.

Thanks again for your comments - it's neat to know that through our conversation, others may choose to investigate things for themselves, so that they can have a full understanding of their own.

i would say that mangled is a polite way of putting it.
i like normal, typed this up over Gmail (i lost microsoft word in a format years ago) and then pasted it into the comment box.
went over it once or twice to make sure i used all the right words in the right places, then hit post.
but only did i hit post to see that there where all kinds and sorts of odd little script errors

uhhh, ok this is very off topic, but was that an earthquake?
my entire trailor just started shaking.

long story short, im out of time again.
ill finish my closing comments at another time.

That's great, Heather!

Since high school, I have made an effort to study success principles (cause I hate reading the "classics" - like The Grapes of Wrath), and across the board, confession is a major component of winning.

Congrats ahead of time, keep me posted on your progress!
