This was my response to a friend's blog post saying that he thought RonPaul was a douche and that he was endorsing Kucinich I got a little carried away with news links and video links and I didn't even get to preview it, so I don't even know if it went through, so here it is, fixed up a bit.

Lately, I've been fancying myself a Kucinich man as well. However, Ron Paul has intrigued me. Both candidates seem to be the only two (possible exception of Gravel) who ever speak about the issues that matter in a sane and coherent manner. I'm sure both have their faults. Ron Paul voted yes on a house resolution to "condemn" that stupid moveon.org "gen. betray us" ad. I find this retarded, yet maybe not so important. Kucinich and Paul are the ONLY 2 who voted against the AIPAC-sponsored condemnation of UN Human Right Council for "choosing to unfairly target Israel". I couldn't find much of any substantiation for the claims that Kucinich is friendly with AIPAC. I'm sure he's friendly with his wife.

Anyway, I think the truth is that since they are each campaigning for seperate parties, there is probably not much point in competition between the two. The general consensus however, is that not one of these candidates have any realistic potential to win. In any unlikely scenario in which either of these guys achieve nomination in their respective parties, I would be inclined to vote for either of them.

This is the best blog I've read in about a year. Maybe I need to take a longer look at Kusinich. I have been watching him and reading up on him but the guy just rubs me the wrong way for some reason. Also I need to find the article I read a couple of nights ago where he says he will always support Israel. Now I have no problem with support for Israel in terms of a peaceful approch. But when do we find in our politics Israels influance in our govt to be a peaceful anything!

Ive been listening to Gravel now for about 2 weeks, meaning I just paid attention, and I like him better than Kusinich. Theres something about Kusiniches way of always pointing to himself that gets to me. Always steering everything he talks about to what he did and has done, instead of just letting his ideas about the future show his personality.

We need another show like Morton...LOL I remember that show.
